Intellectual property is relevant to this promo because my group could get done for taking the bands song and using them in the video. This can be address by getting permission off them. We would have to protect our work because it is out work. But by getting permission from the band we are solving this by not getting done for copyright but also are able to take the credit for our own work and use it as our property.
Also we need permission from locations to use them in the video. If we end up getting the bands contact details we will have to keep that information safe and protect it because its their personal information.
2. Discrimination is not allowed in our promo. As the promo shows a relationship between a guy and a girl we will not make the male dominant and to be seen as having power over the female. We will also not make the promo offensive or harmful to the audience and to not create a typical stereotype of a certain group as in our promo our actors could be seen as a stereotype.

3. BBFC
The BBFC ( British Board of Film Classification ) are an organisation that classify film and videos. This is needed as people of a young age could be revealed to inapropriate content and this could then also lead to complaints being made towards the film / video however BBFC stop this from happening as if anyway was to go to the cinema to see a film they would need ID to be able to purchase a ticket to see the film. Because it is only 12 we would not include anything that would fit into a higher category.
4. OFCOM
OFCOM ( Office of Communication ) also regulate video alongside other things such as TV and Radio. For the music video we would need to follow the rules of OFCOM so that the video is not taken down or reported. Our promo would be on post watershed as for our ideas we have had our actors drinking a couple cans although it is only a couple of seconds it shouldn't influence any younger audiences to drink, also the actress is our promo for the Ashfield's would be smoking a couple of cigarettes this shows the lifestyle of the band and target audience according to Hebdige theory 1979 along as there is no excessive smoking then the promo would be allowed to be viewed pre watershed.

Based on our promo for Eclipse by the Ashfields people could be misrepresented for example the main protagonist who is in love with the girl as he could be seen as obsessive and thinking about the girl all day scrolling through her Instagram which could show to the audience that he is obsessed with her. The places we are filming for our promo could be misrepresented as we are using the ampitheartre which is meant to be represnted as an open air venue used for entertainment and sports, however if we get people in the background we would need to make sure theres nobody drinking etc or misrepresenting the atmosphere of the ampitheartre.
6. For our promo for the Ashfield's we would need to seek copyright for the Eclipse audio even though we are using them as our band we will still need permission to use it from their manager also who would be in full charge even though the band may allow us to use it isn't up to them. We would need them to sign a release and consent form to say that they give permission and we would also need our actors to sign a release and consent form to give their permission. to use their faces and if the promo happens to go on Youtube for them to allow us to put it on
7. Based on our promo for the Ashfield's we would need royalties for the intellectual property for the houses we used for our promo needing permission to be able to film in that certain location. We wouldn't need to get permission for our outdoor locations like the amphitheatre as it isn't anyones property also when we are filming at Devonshire green the location will then be again outside so we won't need permission to film there.
8. We will plan for our promo to entertain the audience but also promote the song 'Eclipse' and the band. It will appeal to the audience because the people that appear in the video could be seen as ideal selfs or ideal partners by the audience which is one of the way it will appeal to the audience. We will also make the promo promote the song Eclipse by allowing the band to share it on any social medias etc and having the name of the band and song in the promo as we don't have the actual band members to show the audience who they are
